Crizotinib is FDA-approved for the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is ALK-positive [1] or ROS1-positive [2] and for adult and pediatric patients one year of age and older with incurable, recurrent, or refractory inflammatory (ALK)-positive myofibroblastic tumors (IMTs) [4] (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene ALK and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
