T-cell activation is then accompanied by the secretion of granzymes and perforins release, cytolytic molecules that cause MM cell lysis and further induce the activation, proliferation, and differentiation of T cells, along with the production of different cytokines such as interleukin (IL)-6, IL-2, interferon-gamma (INF-γ), IL-5, and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1), eventually leading to MM PCs killing.
