KRAS and breast cancer: We found that the tumors from the TAM-treated mice showed decreased numbers of Ki67-positive cells (Figure 7E–H,N) and additionally showed a decrease in Cyclin D1-positive cells relative to vehicle-treated mice (Figure 7I–L,O) indicating that, similar to the Erbb2-driven mammary tumors, PFKFB3 genomic deletion may decrease K-ras-driven lung tumor growth by decreasing cell cycle progression.
