In BALB/c macrophages infected by the Y strain, we obtained pathways related to the translation process and the replication and infection of viruses, among others, while in BALB/c macrophages infected by the VFRA strain we found mostly pathways related to the nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) activation. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is infection.
