TP53 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma: Building on previous studies, some methods including immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF) [166,167], fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), polymerase chain reaction (PCR), next-generation sequencing (NGS) [168], and gene expression profiling (GEP) can also be applied to cancers with p53-NPC defects [164] and could provide valuable biomarkers.
