Genes with high methylated-SFR in cancer patients, such as AKT1, BAP1, BRCA1/2, BRAF, CCND1, ERBB2, ESR1, FGFR1/2/4, FLT3, HRAS, IDH1, KRAS, MAP2K1, PPARG, PTCH1, PTEN, ROS1, SMO, and TP53, may act as direct or indirect suppressors in gastric cancer. Here, SMO is linked to gastric cancer.
