Since genetic factors represent the primary risk contributors for AMD, we aimed to investigate the correlations between single-nucleotide variants (SNVs) in IL-9 and IL-10, collagen-coding genes COL8A1 and COL10A1, lipid transport-associated gene TRIB, oxidative stress and DNA damage-linked gene RAD51B, and the progressive angiogenesis-associated gene VEGFA concerning the effectiveness of exudative AMD treatment. The gene discussed is RAD51B; the disease is age-related macular degeneration.
