GAK and hepatitis C virus infection: More recently, the work of Martinez-Gualda et al. [10], involving new isothiazolo [3,4-b]pyridines, has led to the discovery of new selective inhibitors of the cyclin G-associated kinase (GAK), which is associated with the treatment of viral infections caused by hepatitis C, dengue, the Zika virus from the Flaviviridae family, the Ebola filovirus and others.
