Through the analysis of multiple transcriptomic data, we identified several key genes closely related to mitochondrial autophagy, suggesting that these genes may be the main factors driving the changes in mitochondrial autophagy function in clear cells of renal cell carcinoma, especially in the prognostic analyses the high expression of six mitochondrial autophagy-related genes, namely, UBC, UBA52, TOMM7, UBB, MAP1LC3B, and CSNK2B was closely associated with poor patient prognosis. This evidence concerns the gene UBB and hereditary clear cell renal cell carcinoma.
