Immunoblotting indicated that viral infection downregulated retinol dehydrogenase 10 (RDH10) and retinaldehyde dehydrogenase (RALDH), and upregulated retinaldehyde reductase (DHRS3) and lecithin retinol acyl transferase (LRAT), as indicated in THP-1, bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs), and 3D4/21 cells (Figures 2B and 2C; Figure S2A), as well as in mouse liver (Figure 2D).
