Intratumor immune status influences tumor response to therapy, and high CD8 GZMB+ and CD8 proliferation ratios suggest a good therapeutic response to ICC.25 Many studies have implied that high levels of CD8+ T cell infiltrating into tumor tissues is associated with a positive prognosis, but the opposite result has been observed in ICC patients.26 In this study, no prognostic correlation between CD8+ T-cell infiltration and ICC was observed, and FGFR2 mutations were not associated with CD8+ T-cell infiltration. This evidence concerns the gene FGFR2 and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
