Considering that EMT is a hallmark of lung cancer progression (Legras et al., 2017), we concluded that the reduced Tks4 level in NSCLC samples possibly supports the importance of EMT-promoting signalisation in patients, most likely in a manner similar to that of in vitro the Tks4-KO lung cancer cell line. This evidence concerns the gene SH3PXD2B and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
