Although CBX2 OE in the cancer cells did not alter the density of M1-like macrophages (18.6% vs. 15.1%), it did promote the expression of M2-like macrophage markers (Control: 25.7% vs. CBX2 OE: 38.6%, Fig. 4B–D; gating strategy; Supplementary Fig. S4B).
