MYC and neoplasm: The observation that a feedback loop between PFKP and c-Myc contributes to HNSCC tumor progression, coupled with the finding that patients with high expression of both PFKP and c-Myc have worse survival outcomes, prompted us to investigate whether co-inhibition of PFKP and c-Myc using the inhibitor 10,058-F4 could synergistically impede the progression of HNSCC.
