BRAF and colonic neoplasm: After adjusting for confounding factors, male sex (OR, 2.07; 95% CI, 1.71–2.50), age ≥50 (OR, 2.77; 95% CI, 2.15–3.56), colon tumors (OR, 1.53; 95% CI, 1.28–1.83), early-stage tumors (OR, 1.46; 95% CI, 1.23–1.75), NRAS mutant tumors (OR, 1.66; 95% CI, 1.01–2.72), and BRAF wild-type tumors (OR, 2.43; 95% CI, 1.03–5.70) remained significantly associated with a higher risk of high-risk polyps.
