The results revealed that decreased expression of vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGFA) (P = 0.0014) and transcription factor AP-1 (JUN) (P = 0.0063) and elevated expression of insulin-like growth factor I (IGF-I) (P = 0.021) were associated with improved prognosis in cervical cancer patients (Fig. 4c). This evidence concerns the gene IGF1 and cervical carcinoma.
