Several studies have implicated FERMT1 in colon cancer (Liu et al. 2017; Fan et al. 2011), nasopharyngeal carcinoma (Li et al. 2022), gastric cancer (Fan et al. 2020), oral squamous cell carcinoma (Wang and Chen 2021), and pancreatic cancer (Mahawithitwong et al. 2013). Here, FERMT1 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
