PBRM1 and neoplasm: revealed that the patients with Pbrm1 gene loss experienced significant improvement in the effectiveness of ICB therapy.[8] Pbrm1 plays a crucial role in resisting T cell attacks, and Pbrm1 deficiency can alter the expression of genes within tumor cells, rendering them more sensitive to immune attack and preventing immune evasion.[9] Therefore, Pbrm1 can serve as a potential target to develop innovative strategies to enhance the clinical benefit of ICB therapy.
