Genes linked to prostate cancer susceptibility, including RNASEL, MSR1 and MIC1, found in areas associated with familial prostate cancer, as well as TLR4, MIC1, PON1, BRCA2, CHEK2 and OGG, have been identified as contributors to prostate cancer development [2–5]. This evidence concerns the gene TLR4 and prostate carcinoma.
