Interestingly, we observed that Ptgs2 expressed in aLSC was associated with the γδT-derived App. Ptgs2, known as cyclooxygenase 2 (Cox2), is rapidly expressed in a variety of cell types in response to growth factors, cytokines, and proinflammatory molecules [85, 86] and can induce cancer stem cell-like activity and promote the proliferation, inflammation, invasion, and metastasis of cancer cells [87]. The gene discussed is PTGS2; the disease is cancer.
