MGLCs uniquely expressed the BAM cytokine gene Pf4 (aka CXCL4, 64 ± 2% of MGLCs vs 5.6 ± 0.5% of naive MG, two-tailed unpaired t-test p-value < 0.0001) and had a higher fraction of cells expressing the anti-inflammatory Cxcl16 gene98 (64 ± 6% of MGLCs vs 30 ± 3% of naive MG, two-tailed unpaired t-test p-value < 0.001; Fig. 6e and Supplementary Fig. 13a–b). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL16 and myasthenia gravis.
