RPS27L and neoplasm: TERT is highly expressed in various cancers and it is associated with poor prognosis (Bell et al., 2020; Li T. et al., 2021); cytoplasmic polyadenylation element-binding protein 3 (CPEB)3, which inhibits proliferation and migration of tumour cells if overexpressed; ribosomal protein S27-like (RPS27L), a regulator of genome stability, and eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E family member 3 (EIF4E3), with both were correlated with tumour suppression functions (Zhang et al., 2021).
