Given our findings of GNA13 regulation of the expression of several key players of ER+ breast cancer pathogenesis such as MYC and ERα that are well known to correlate to resistance to anti-estrogen treatments and emergence of Long-Term Estrogen Deprivation (LTED) characteristics, the impact of Gα13 on aspects of endocrine resistance in this subtype will be an important area for future investigations. Here, ESR1 is linked to breast cancer.
