Next, ROC curve analysis was performed to evaluate the diagnostic value of FOSB, GPAT3, RGCC, and RNF43. We found that the AUCs of FOSB (Fig. 2H), GPAT3 (Fig. 2I), RGCC (Fig. 2J), and RNF43 (Fig. 2K) were 0.974, 0.983, 0.985, and 0.958, respectively, suggesting that all four genes showed a strong ability to differentiate NAFLD samples from normal samples. Here, RGCC is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
