While the development of menin inhibitors shows encouraging results in early-phase clinical trials and could change the treatment landscape of KMT2Ar AML in the future [38, 39], KRAS inhibitors that have been recently approved for advanced solid tumors [40] might also open novel possibilities of targeted AML therapy and might change the prognostic impact of the markers presented in this study.
