Ferroptosis is driven by iron‐dependent phospholipid peroxidation.[28] The ferroptosis inducer has shown promise as a potential cancer therapy, either as a single agent or in combination with other targeted agents, including PI3K/mTOR pathway inhibitors and immune checkpoint blockers.[49] Lycosin‐I‐induced ferroptosis in leukemia provides an effective basis for the use of Lycosin‐I in combination therapy.
