IL1B and lung cancer: In ever smokers, we found that interferon gamma-induced protein 10 (IP-10) (OR = 0.861, 95% CI: 0.781-0.950, P = 0.003) was inversely associated with lung cancer risk, while IL-1β (OR = 1.190, 95% CI: 1.023-1.384, P = 0.024) was positively associated with lung cancer risk (Supplementary Tables 10, 11).
