More than half of MPAL cases are the B/myeloid type.1 The ETV6-ABL1 fusion was first reported in 1995, in a child with B-cell precursor ALL (BCP-ALL).2 To date, 126 cases have been reported, including in 48 cases of ALL, 12 cases of AML, and 65 cases of MPN. This evidence concerns the gene ABL1 and myeloproliferative neoplasm.
