The results of this study, together with others mentioned in the literature, showed no difference in T helper-1 and T helper-2 related cytokines ((IL-2, IL-12, IFN-γ, TNF-α) and (IL-4, IL5, IL-13), respectively) in the association between cancer and allergic developments because of type I hypersensitivity reactions. The gene discussed is IL2; the disease is cancer.
