Gene-silencing therapies for ATTRv amyloidosis with polyneuropathy have evolved, with Patisiran and Inotersen being early advancements.[10] These paved the way for Vutrisiran and Eplontersen, the latest gene-silencing medications for ATTRv amyloidosis with polyneuropathy.[11] Before gene therapies, treatment options included liver transplantation and TTR stabilizers.[10] Notably, diflunisal and tafamidis were explored as TTR kinetic stabilizers, altering the natural history of ATTRv amyloidosis with polyneuropathy.[10].
