These findings are substantiated by experimental evidence which indicate that activation of EGFR (Che et al. 2015, Tsai et al. 2015), inactivation of TP53 (Wang et al. 2009, Powell et al. 2014), and activation of MET (Chang et al. 2015, Yin et al. 2019) enhance the metastatic capacity of lung cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and lung cancer.
