In a study aimed at assessing whether osteosarcoma progression could be disrupted through apigenin consumption by inhibiting the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway, apigenin was found to suppress both the intrinsic and activated transcriptional activities of beta-catenin/TGF, significantly reducing its nuclear concentration [126,127] (Fig. 5).
