According to common cancer (breast cancer, cervical cancer, liver cancer, lung adenocarcinoma, lung squamous cell carcinoma, ovarian cancer, and stomach cancer) survival analysis in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database, higher expression levels of PICALM in tumor samples indicated shorter survival in breast and stomach cancer (Figure 3G; Figure S3, Supporting Information). This evidence concerns the gene PICALM and cervical carcinoma.
