Although the role of LINC00511 in pyroptosis or inflammation has yet to be elucidated, several studies have shown that LINC00511 overexpression is present in a substantial number of cancers, including bladder cancer, cervical cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma, and promotes cancer cell growth, impedes apoptosis, enhances lymph node metastasis and results in an unfavourable overall survival rate [29, 30]. The gene discussed is LINC00511; the disease is urinary bladder cancer.
