These data demonstrate that the pre-infection with LEV-8 significantly increased interferon and cytokine responses (IL12, CCR4, CCL22, and IL21), agreeing well with the findings that co-infection with SARS-CoV-2 and LEV-8 reduces the replicating activity of SARS-CoV-2 in the lungs and the severity of clinical and pathomorphological manifestations of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Here, CCL22 is linked to coinfection.
