PCT, CRP, and NLR values were all significantly lower in candidemia compared with bacteremia (0.29 (0.14-0.69) vs. 1.73 (0.5-6.9) ng/mL, <i>p</i> < 0.001, 6.3 (2.4-11.8) vs. 19 (10.7-24.8) mg/dl, <i>p</i> < 0.001 and 6 (3.7-8.6) vs. 9.8 (5.3-16.3), <i>p</i> = 0.001, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and bacterial infectious disease with sepsis.
