Similarly, upon examining the association between DNMBP-rs10786578 and GALNT14-rs62139523 genotypes, alongside other clinical parameters, and PFS, the univariate analysis revealed that patients with GALNT14-rs62139523 “A/G” genotype (p = 0.003), larger tumor diameter (p = 0.040), lower T stage (pT1 to pT3) (p = 0.038), and lower circulating CEA levels (p < 0.001) were associated with better PFS.
