The clinicopathological characteristics of HNSCC patients revealed that OS-related results for EGLN1 did not present a beneficial impact of low EGLN1 transcript level, but we observed a significant increase in OS among patients with high EGLN2 mRNA levels in tumor tissues (p = 0.0052), as well as those with low levels of EGLN3 (p = 0.0272). This evidence concerns the gene EGLN3 and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
