CCL5 is overexpressed in many tumor types, such as breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal carcinoma, esophageal cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, gastric adenocarcinoma, melanoma, head and neck cancer, acute lymphocytic leukemia, Hodgkin lymphoma, multiple myeloma, chondrosarcoma, and osteosarcoma, as reviewed in [24]. This evidence concerns the gene CCL5 and breast cancer.
