They reported both mutation and amplification frequency in the following tumour suppressor genes: TAOK1-3, NF2, WWC1, FRMD6, SAV1, STK3/4, MOB1A/B, and LATS1/2, and oncogenes: YAP1, TAZ, and TEAD1-4. Moreover, they highlighted that among the 33 different cancer types, NF2, LATS2, SAV1 mutations, and YAP amplification have the highest mutation/amplification frequency in mesothelioma (MESO), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), and cervical squamous cell carcinoma (CESC) [21].
