Although these findings support KDM3B as a tumor suppressor, it also shows oncogenic functions as it is overexpressed in prostate cancer (PCa) [16], non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) [17], hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) [18], renal cell carcinoma [19], and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) [20], promoting cancer cell proliferation and survival. Here, KDM3B is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
