The results showed that the proportion of antihypertensive therapy (hazard ratio [HR] = 0.702, [95% confidence interval {CI}: 0.474–1.041], p = 0.078), lipid‐lowering therapy (HR = 0.659 [95% CI: 0.458–949], p = 0.037), high levels of LDL‐C (HR = 1.003 [95% CI: 1.000–1.007], p = 0.000), ApoB (HR = 1.011 [95% CI: 1.001–1.021], p = 0.024), Lp‐PLA2 (HR = 1.009 [95% CI: 1.008–1.011], p < 0.001), and lower level of HDL‐C (HR = 0.981 [95% CI: 0.964–0.998], p = 0.030), CTRP‐3 (HR = 0.936 [95% CI: 0.926–0.946], p < 0.001) were independent risk factors for CVD in T2DM (Table 2).
