Notably, all the SARS‐CoV‐2 entry factors27 involved in the successive steps of viral docking (ACE, NRP1, and BSG), processing (CTSL, TMPRSS11A, TMPRSS11B, TMPRSS2, FURIN, and CTSB), and viral defense mechanisms (IFNAR1, IFNAR2, IFITM1, IFITM2, IFITM3, and LY6E) were found to be expressed in glioma tissues (Figure 5B). The gene discussed is NRP1; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
