Notably, CCR2 was found as one of the essential regulators for macrophage infiltration.[35] It was identified that the CCR2+ macrophages were dramatically reduced in AAA lesions from Ninj1ΔMΦ mice (Figure 6A,B), and the expression level of CCR2 was positively correlated with the expression level of NINJ1 in Raw264.7 cells (Figure 6C; Figure S7A,B, Supporting Information). This evidence concerns the gene NINJ1 and triple-A syndrome.
