Consistently, in situ immunofluorescence staining exhibited that macrophages in AAA lesions from Ninj1ΔMΦ mice showed a reduced expression level of INOS and the enhanced expression level of CD206 (Figure 3C–F), indicating that macrophage NINJ1 deficiency inhibited pro‐inflammatory phenotype of macrophages in AAA.
