A total of five serum tumour markers were included: cytokeratin 19 fragment antigen (CYFRA 21.1), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), neuron-specific enolase (NSE), cancer antigen 125 (CA125), and squamous cell carcinoma antigen (SCC), with the first three being the most prevalent in our dataset. This evidence concerns the gene SERPINB3 and neoplasm.
