ERK phosphorylation is refractory to EGFR inhibition in human BRAFV600E-mutant CRC cell lines (Corcoran et al., 2012; Prahallad et al., 2012); however, the FAK-EGFR interaction was still detected in HT29 CRC cells, and the interaction was not affected by either EGFR inhibition or FAK inhibition (Figure 5—figure supplement 1E).
