Other conditions by frequency were lymphopenia in 12 (46%) patients, type 2 diabetes (T2DM) in 11 (35.5%), rheumatic/autoimmune diseases in 7 (23%), HIV infection in 6 (19%), of which 4/6 (67%) had <100 CD4+ cell count, and malnutrition in 5 (16%); 19 (61%) patients had two or more comorbidities at the same time. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and autoimmune disease.
