But, it is interesting to note that, regardless of the difference in position and amino acid change (e.g., c.3583 A>T causing Thr1129Ser change in one sample and c.1313C>A causing Pro504Gln change in another sample), when the samples were grouped together based on BCC-associated PTCH1 negative or positive non-synonymous somatic mutations, we see a marked difference of the differential expression of many relevant gene pathways.
