IL6 and neoplasm: Figure 1A shows high expression of IL-6 in HNSCC, while other CKs are predominantly expressed in benign lesions. Additionally, the balance of Th1/Th2 shifted toward Th2 in tumor patients, while it leaned toward Th1 in benign patients. The results of PCA revealed a significant separation of Th1 and Th2 CKs on the PC2 axis for patients with HNSCC, but not for those with benign lesions (Figure 2A and 2B).
