These are lower response rates compared with another phase II study of adavosertib monotherapy in 34 evaluable patients with uterine serous carcinoma (USC) demonstrated an ORR of 29.4%, with one complete response and nine partial responses, although this is possibly because of the increased replicative stress of USC and subsequent increased susceptibility to WEE1 inhibition (25). This evidence concerns the gene WEE1 and endometrial serous adenocarcinoma.
